2. Overview

GrootDesk is designed to be GDPR-first. Our infrastructure is hosted in Germany (EU), we do not train AI models on your or your customers' data, and we delete personal data on request. This policy explains what we collect on this marketing website and how we handle it.

3. Data we collect on this site

• Early-access form. When you request early access we collect the shop URL, platform, monthly ticket volume, helpdesk in use, your work email and any optional message. This is used solely to contact you about GrootDesk and set up a pilot. Legal basis: your consent / steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) & (b) GDPR).
• Server logs. Our web server processes technical data such as IP address, user agent and timestamps to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are retained only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
• Interactive demo. The on-page chat demo is fully simulated in your browser. It sends no data to any server.

4. Cookies & analytics

This website sets no advertising cookies and uses no third-party analytics or tracking. Only essential requests needed to serve the page are made.

5. How the form submission is handled

Form submissions are delivered to us by email. We do not store your submission in a separate marketing database beyond what is necessary to respond and follow up. A honeypot field and per-IP rate limiting are used to prevent spam.

6. Recipients & processors

This site is hosted on infrastructure located in Germany (EU). Email delivery of form submissions is handled via our email provider. Any processors act on our instructions under appropriate data processing agreements.

7. Your rights

8. Data retention

We keep early-access enquiries only as long as needed to evaluate and follow up on your request, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner.
